Is it suitable for kittens?
This pouch is labelled for adult cats aged 1 year and above. Select the separate kitten formula for a growing kitten.
What is the food’s texture?
It is a smooth wet mousse, rather than dry kibble or chunks in gravy.
Is it a meal or a creamy cat treat?
Drools describes Chicken Mousse for adult cats as a complete and balanced meal. It is a wet cat food, not the brand’s separate creamy treat product.
Does it contain only chicken?
No. The formula also includes hydrolysed chicken liver, pumpkin, dried egg and other listed ingredients. Check the full ingredient list when choosing food for a cat with dietary restrictions.
How much should I feed each day?
Use the weight-based recommendations above as a starting guide, then adjust for your cat’s age, activity, body condition and other meals. One 80 g pouch is not a universal daily feeding amount.
Can I save food left in an opened pouch?
Yes. Transfer the unused food to an airtight container, refrigerate it and use within 24 hours, as directed on the label.
Does wet food replace drinking water?
No. The mousse contributes dietary moisture, but fresh drinking water should remain available at all times.
